Vintage J. C. Deagan – Special No. 31 Flat Top Orchestra Bells

This is a set of J.C. Deagan Flat Top Orchestra Bells up for auction on Ebay. When made, each bar of the Deagan Standard Flat Top Special Orchestra Bells were highly polished, and triple plated by a process which did not injure the tone.

The bells still sound clear and in tune. Some of the pegs have been replaced with phillips head screws.

The case is worn and the handle is missing. The veneer & wood is missing in places on the outside. The low A is stamped J C Deagan, Inc., Chicago Patented JUNE-9-1908. The number 29 is stamped inside the case.
